“The proposal to host the meeting of the 44 leaders of European states and regions in our country emphasizes the unequivocal support of our partners for the European course and future of Moldova. It also reflects the pragmatic and results-oriented character that we want to give to the European Political Community created today. Dear friends, we are waiting for you in Chisinau”, the head of state said on her Facebook page.

According to President Sandu, additional efforts are needed to strengthen European security in the medium and long term.

“The road ahead of us is not easy and only together can we solve these challenges. We will get through this winter, Europe will come out of it much stronger, and we will be ready to welcome you, next spring, in the Republic of Moldova”, said Maia Sandu in Prague.

The President participated on October 6 in Prague, together with the leaders of 43 other European states and governments, at the inauguration of the European Political Community.
