Area of Romania recommended by Euronews Travel
EuroNews Travel recommends one of the most beautiful areas of Romania to travel lovers. “These villages may seem straight out of fairy tales, but they are places in real life,” the journalists note.
EuroNews journalists recommend the Maramureş region in the travel column. The publication shows that many of the buildings and churches of the place, over 400 years old, are on the UNESCO world heritage list.
“The remote region of northwestern Romania, Maramureş, has a unique architectural style, with tall, tower-shaped churches and roofs adorning the landscape. These villages may seem straight out of fairy tales, but they are real-life places.”
“Discover the unique Gothic churches in the remote region of Maramureş” is the title of the article written by Euronews, which urges foreigners to visit this fairytale land.
