HipTrip Travel Film Festival, the first travel film festival in Romania, brings together, between May 23 and 25, at Cinema Eforie and Cinema Union, film screenings related to travel and workshops with professionals in the field.

The festival, in its first edition, aims to promote and support the travel film industry and the Romanian tourism potential.

HipTrip Travel Film Festival will debut with a documentary premiere, “Istanbul Unveiled”. Internationally awarded, the documentary will reveal another side of the great city, different from the one in the tourist guides.

Şerif Yenen, the director of the documentary “Istanbul Unveiled”, will also participate in the premiere in Romania.

At the same time, the Romanian documentary “PET Rafters”, which presents the story of the adventurers who set off on the Danube with a raft made of PETs, will premiere on May 24.

Denisa Căldăraru, from the Ovi Foundation, organizer of the festival, and Cătălin Mihai, the director of the Romanian documentary “PET Rafters”, talk about the Hip Trip Travel Film Festival at Tănăr în Europa.
