BUCHAREST (Romania), August 31 (SeeNews) – Romanian aerospace manufacturer IAR Brasov said on Wednesday its first-half net profit decreased by 6% on the year to 17.2 million lei ($3.53 million/3.54 million euro).
The company registered a turnover of 199 million lei at the end of June 2022, up from 167.5 million lei at the end of the same period last year, IAR Brasov said in a statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Operating revenue of the aerospace company increased to 196.1 million lei in the first half of 2022, compared to 158.4 million in the like period of 2021.
IAR Brasov was founded in 1925 and is the sole manufacturer of civil and military helicopters in Romania.
Shares of IAR Brasov traded 1.00% higher at 10.1 lei as of CET 1358 on Wednesday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
