The National Agency for Public Health (ANSP) received 15 machines, procured by the World Health Organization (WHO), with the financial support of the European Union (EU). The cars were distributed during an event organized on Thursday, August 4.

According to the Ministry of Health, the transport units were distributed to the teams in the territory that carry out a series of checks, as well as other monitoring activities, in several localities in the country.

“In order to ensure quality public health services, the specialists from the Public Health Centers (CSP) Glodeni, Anenii Noi, Briceni, Leova, Soroca, Șoldănești, Comrat, Călărași, Taraclia, Fălești, Sângerei, Rezina received new cars, but and those from ANSP (Chisinau).

With the help of these machines, it will be possible to carry out supervision and support visits, including in the vaccination process”, announces the Ministry of Health.

The total value of the donation is about 190 thousand euros or 3.7 million lei.

The event is part of the technical activities planned within the partnership between the EU and the WHO Regional Office for Europe to support the vaccination process against COVID-19 and routine vaccination in the six countries of the EU’s Eastern Partnership, the Ministry of Health also announces.
