The designers from Starh – Architecture, Constructions, Design won the competition for the rehabilitation of the Council Square in Brașov.
The members of the jury evaluated 31 projects participating in this solution competition, and the winning architecture firm will benefit from a prize of 1.48 million lei without VAT, representing also the payment of design services and preparation of documentation in order to start the works.
After the completion of the technical project, the Municipality will proceed to the stage of its implementation, which will be possible including with non-reimbursable funds.
“We are talking about a zero zone of Brașov that has not undergone major interventions since the end of the 80s. Strictly for Piața Sfatului, obviously it is probably the most complex element of everything that means the heart of Brașov, it is a place very emotionally linked to the memory of many Brașov residents”, declared the mayor of Brașov, Allen Coliban.
