CS Farul Constanța participated in the European Senior Shotokan Karate Championship, a competition held in Kranevo, Bulgaria, obtaining seven medals (three gold and four silver), through the twin sisters Cotoban, Livia and Andreea.

The results were:

1st place – Livia Cotoban (Shobu Ippon Kumite – category 68 kg)
1st place – Livia Cotoban (Shobu Sanbon Kumite – category 68 kg)
1st place – Livia Cotoban (WKF Kumite – category 68 kg)
2nd place – Andreea Cotoban (Shobu Ippon Kumite – category 61 kg)

2nd place – Livia Cotoban & Andreea Cotoban (with team)
