Filming with a car that was disinsecting in Brașov created hysteria in the online environment. Hundreds of internet users revolted, most saying that this is how “COVID is spread”. Moreover, some of them urged those on the spot to beat the driver until he confessed that he intentionally made people sick.
The filming was done in the Stupini district of Brașov and shows a city hall car carrying out rodent control works, spreading substances on the streets.
Once online, the video went viral. The post has garnered over 8,000 posts and hundreds of comments in which people are outraged and believe that the disinsectization action will result in COVID illness or even death.
Police officer Marian Godină gathered and distributed some of the comments: “Almost 8,700 distributions gathered this post. Here are just a few of the comments made by our compatriots. What else can you say? “, He wrote on his Facebook page.

However, there were also some citizens who dared to explain the presence of the car on the streets, at night: “Disinfects, that’s what they do, they don’t kill anyone”.
Marian Godină also published the announcement of the authorities to the population regarding the disinfection actions.
