Primark opens two stores in Romania!

The expansion in Romania is a proof of the investments and constant involvement on the CEE market, with plans already started for the inauguration of a second store in this country. In addition, the retailer has committed to open four more stores in Poland, including two new stores in Lodz and Wroclaw. It intends to enter Slovakia early next year with a store in Bratislava – the country would thus become the number 16 market for Primark, after Romania.
The successful opening of 15 stores in the last financial year has led to an increase in CEE’s portfolio of stores as part of the Primark Group’s ongoing expansion process. Last year, Primark unveiled plans to accelerate its expansion into the U.S. market, building on solid commercial revenue and growing brand visibility to reach about 60 stores over the next five years. Primark also aims to expand to France, Italy and the Iberian Peninsula to reach a total of 530 stores in this five-year period.
