In absolute numbers, Scripps Network International – the international development subsidiary of the Scripps Network Interactive media group won a 904,534 euro contract to co-produce two 47-minute episodes, respectively three-minute fillers, in which it will be promoted Romania’s tourism brand and to be broadcast on Travel Channel television station.

The National Authority for Tourism justified the contract award procedure (negotiation without tender notice) by arguing that the services can be provided only by a certain bidder, for reasons related to the protection of exclusive rights, according to the award notice published on 22 November in SEAP.

Travel Channel is one of the group’s brands Scripps Network Interactive which also holds the Food Network, Cooking Channel and Fine Living Network positions in its portfolio.
