Constanța City Hall organizes a public procurement for the execution of construction works within the “Business Incubator” project.
The Embiricos House, built in 1922, known as the Palace of Navigation, is one of the most photographed attractions by tourists.
The architectural beauty of the building is in great discrepancy with the advanced state of degradation in which the building is today.
In 2020, the Chitac administration issued the town planning certificate and the building permit in order to secure and consolidate the building.
Acquisition and contracting of construction works, according to the technical project, related to the investment objective “Business Incubator Constanta” SMIS code 2014+: 124568, financed under the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, Priority Axis 2 – Improving the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises investments 2.1-Promoting the entrepreneurial spirit especially by facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and by encouraging the creation of new enterprises, including through business incubators, through the financing contract no. 4485 / 01.07.2019.
The total estimated value is 12,520,448.61 lei.
The general objective of the project is to create a sectoral business incubator, intended for the creative industries sector, in a building with a height of Ug + Gf + 4F + At, located in Constanta, which aims to become the first regional hub of the entrepreneurial community engaged in the creative industries sector in the South-East region and to contribute to increasing regional competitiveness, generating innovation and creating new skilled and competitively paid jobs. The incubator will provide high quality support services for incubated companies and will create mechanisms to facilitate the transfer of experience, know-how and knowledge specific to successful business development, both to new entrepreneurs in the creative industries and to the entire entrepreneurial community in the Southeast region.
