According to DAL Travel consultants, the tariffs did not change significantly compared to previous years, but slightly adjusted taking into account only the inflation rate and the increase in certain expenses. All Christmas and New Year’s Eve packages include festive dinners, various activities and optional on-site excursions.

For example, at the Rozmarin Hotel in Predeal (4 stars), a Christmas package, which includes 4 nights accommodation, with breakfast and dinner buffet, starts from 1450 lei per person. The New Year’s Eve party at the 4-star Palace Hotel in Sinaia, which includes 3 nights accommodation and a festive dinner, costs from 1932 lei per person.
Another important Christmas tourist attraction is the Albota tourist complex, where the famous trout farm is located. For 3 nights with all inclusive services, a tourist will pay between 1600 and 1950 lei. Also for Christmas, the Guest Houses of Count Kalnoky from Micloșoara are more and more sought after. For 390 euros per person, a tourist will benefit from 3 nights accommodation in a superior room, breakfast, lunch and traditional dinner, two activities or guided tours.
One of the most expensive and exclusive Christmas offers is at Castelnor resort, located in Păltiniș resort, just 30 km from Sibiu, in an irresistible natural setting. For 3 nights accommodation, deluxe double room, the tourist package is 568 euros and includes half board, access to the spa, ski storage and free transfer to the Arena Platoș ski area.
The most expensive offer for New Year’s Eve is at the 4-star Alpin Hotel in Poiana Brasov, where, for 4 nights, a tourist will pay between 875 euros for a seat in a standard double room and 1235 euros for a seat in a deluxe double room and a premium tourist package . The tour package includes breakfast, themed dinners (each night is dedicated to a city such as New York, Las Vegas, Monaco and Dubai), international brunch, live music and famous artists, a program of games and creative activities for children, fruit set and chocolate and a bottle of champagne in the room on arrival.
