Grand Hotel Bucharest will be the new name of the InterContinental Hotel Bucharest, starting with January 1, 2022
Grand Hotel Bucharest will take its new name after the end of the management contract between the owner of the hotel, InterContinental Romania SA Company, and IHG Hotel & Resorts, the owner of the InterContinental brand.
The hotel will continue its business and will continue to offer its guests the same high quality hotel services as before, in line with its position and reputation in the local hotel landscape.
At the same time, the property will be part of an extensive renovation and modernization project. This process aims to bring the property up to the latest hotel standards to meet the current requirements of the guests. The improvements will aim to increase the quality of guests’ experiences, improve the structure of services offered and align with international design and hospitality trends. The works are planned to be completed in 2024, and the estimated value of the investments is 21 million euros, this project having as finality the positioning of Grand Hotel Bucharest as the best luxury hotel in the capital.

a face value of 0.1 lei. In 2020, the company reported a turnover of RON 12,781,270 and
