The men’s handball team Potaissa Turda qualified, on Sunday, on their own field, in the eighth finals of the European Cup, after defeating the Kosovar team KH Besa Famgas. Potaissa joins the Minaur Baia Mare and CSM Focşani teams in the eighth round, according to news.ro.
Potaissa won Sunday’s match, the return leg of round 3, with a score of 29-26 (13-12).

In the round, KH Besa Famgas won with the score of 30-28, but in general the score is favorable to the Romanian team with only one goal, 57-56, so that Potaissa qualifies in the eighth finals of the European Cup.
Two other Romanian teams qualified for the round of 16 on Saturday. Minaur Baia Mare eliminated Partizan Belgrade (26-30 and 28-23), and CSM Focşani eliminated Haukar (28-26 and 26-27)
