Electrification of the Moldovan Railway (MFF) can be solved with the financial support of external partners.

According to the Infotag agency, the European Commissioner for Transport, Adina Vălean, who paid an official visit to Moldova, said this in Chisinau, Știri.md reports.

She said the Moldovan authorities need to develop railway modernization projects, given that the European Union is investing heavily in this type of transport.

“The European Union is open to the subject of modernizing the railway and electrifying it, which is related to ecology. Moldova must seriously consider electrifying the road, this aspect should be part of the modernization project,” Valean told one of the stations. TV.
