Brașov, strategically located in the middle of the country, thus becomes a new location on the map of CTP Romania, with seven buildings, most of them rented, but also with space available for rent.

At the same time, Timișoara becomes the second location as an area for CTP Romania, after Bucharest, by adding this new industrial park with five rented buildings, as well as with space immediately available for rent, near CTPark Timișoara, near Ghiroda airport.

“Our portfolio is now closer to the 2 million sq m terminal and at the same time we have expanded our presence in Romania, by entering Brașov, a new market for CTP. The park in Timișoara joins very nicely with what will soon become the largest CTPark project outside Bucharest and its surroundings “, said Ana Dumitrache, Country Manager, CTP Romania.

Through this acquisition, seven new tenants enter the family of CTP customers, the other tenants in the purchased buildings being already customers in the group’s local portfolio.

In 2021, CTP acquired approximately 112,000 sq m of industrial space from Zacaria Industrial, and in 2020 the company made a series of similar transactions, including the A1 Business Park platform in Dragomirești Vale, Cromwell Property Group and Equest Logistic industrial park Park, located on the A1 highway, near Bucharest, from Forum Serdika, being the most dynamic player on the industrial and logistics market.

Following this new acquisition, CTP has Class A warehouses in 13 cities in Romania: Arad, Brașov, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Deva, Oradea, Pitești, Sibiu, Timișoara, Turda, Ineu and Salonta.

In Central and Eastern Europe, the company is the largest developer of class A industrial and logistics parks, with a portfolio of 6.6 million sqm, which it intends to expand to 10 million sqm by 2023.
