CHANGES. Travel Mix 4K TV becomes a teleshopping station and changes its name. The company also has a license called Travel Mix, which it wants to bring 8K programs.
The National Audiovisual Council approved, today, the changes requested by the owners of the two stations. In short, they consist of:

The station Travel Mix (operated on a separate license) turns into 4K and 8K post.
With the approval of the CNA, the station says that could emit 8K. It would be the first station with 8K content in our country. However, 8K programs could be delayed in our country.
The main reason would be related to the low share of TVs that support the Ultra-HD 8K format, but also to the possibilities of cable distributors.
Travel Mix 4K began broadcasting in the spring of 2019, after obtaining the 4K license change in January 2019.
We remind you that Digi 4K is the first Ultra HD television in Romania. It started broadcasting on November 25, 2018.
