Leger Holidays waved off its first European coach tours for some 20 months this week.
Leger Holidays is back on the road
Five departures set off for the continent on Monday (25 October), with a further 115 scheduled for the rest of the year.
Its French and Belgium escorted touring programme includes Battle of the Bulge, All Quiet on the Western Front, D-Day Landings in Normandy, D-Day Landings in Normandy by Luxuria, and Splendours of Paris.
The three-, four- and five-night tours include coach travel and local pick-up, hotel accommodation, continental breakfast and some excursions, with optional excursions also available.
Liam Race, Leger Shearings Group chief executive, said: “It’s a great relief to be able to finally restart our European escorted coach tours after all this time – we’re delighted to get going again, and with just a lateral flow test now required on Day 2 [of clients’ return], it’s all quite straightforward.
“We have more than 100 tours heading across the Channel by the end of December. It’s great we can now give customers their long-awaited holidays, and with hundreds more tours on sale in 2022 and 2023, there’s plenty more to look forward to.”
