Today, the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, received the members of the Group of the European People’s Party (EPP) from Romania, led by MEP Ioan-Rareș Bogdan. The discussion focused on the current situation in the Republic of Moldova, on the cooperation with the institutions of the European Union and with the member countries, and on the interest to carry out several joint initiatives with Romania.
The head of state thanked the MEPs for their support of our country. The EPP members from Romania reconfirmed, in their turn, that Bucharest will remain the faithful supporter of the Republic of Moldova in achieving the European agenda and development projects of the country, for the good of the citizens.
