Baccalaureate 2021 – how to calculate the average
The general average of the baccalaureate is calculated as an arithmetic average, with two decimals, without rounding, from the marks obtained at the respective tests. Be careful, though! The overall baccalaureate average is not calculated for candidates who have not passed one or more tests, who have not taken all the tests or who have been removed from one test.
For candidates who obtain an overall average of 5.99, the overall average is rounded to 6.00.
In order to be declared promoted, a high school graduate must meet the following conditions, cumulatively: to take all the written tests, in which he must obtain at least a grade of 5 and to obtain an average of 6, in the written tests.
Also this year, the tests of language and digital skills were not organized, due to the epidemiological situation. They were equivalent, it is shown in a communiqué of the Ministry of Education. The candidate who, in one of the tests for the assessment of language and digital skills, refuses to answer or solve the proposed topics is considered not to have taken the test.
