A number of 18 technology start-ups from Romania have been selected for the Spotlight 2021 Program, organized by How To Web, one of the most important annual technology and innovation conferences in Europe, the organizers announced in a press release transmitted, on Tuesday, AGERPRES.
In total, 42 of the most promising tech start-ups in Eastern Europe are included in the program, which will end on November 24, with the pitching event “Pitch Day”.
The participating teams come from: Romania, Estonia, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Kosovo, Hungary and Ukraine.
According to the quoted source, the 17 projects in Romania are: Brio, CardioMedive, ClientZen, FlowOS, I’m Fine, KFactory, Konvi, Metabeta, NRGI.ai, Octavic, Orgo.space, Otium, RepsMate, Salarium, SenseTask, Live Streams , Vatis Tech and Vaunt Software.
Spotlight is one of the most important programs dedicated to early-stage tech start-ups in Eastern Europe. It will run exclusively online until November 21, 2021.
The program will end with a competition between the participating start-ups: the semifinals will take place on November 22 and 23, when the ten finalist startups will be chosen, and the final will take place on November 24, within the event ” Pitch Day “, where both investors, start-up founders, and representatives of the business environment and beyond are expected to participate.
