Bucharest (Romania), March 4 (SeeNews) – Romanian luxury real estate developer Nordis Group plans to invest 31 million euros (37.34 million US dollars) in building a hotel and residential complex in downtown Brasov, it said on Thursday.
Work on the 14,000 m² Nordis Brasov hotel and apartment complex is slated to begin this spring, while completion is expected in 2023, Nordis announced in a press release.
The project comprises five different buildings that offer 158 hotel rooms and 43 residential apartments.
“We assume that with the opening of the airport in Brasov, the number of foreign tourists will increase significantly, and this aspect will lead to an excellent occupancy rate in the hotel,” said Daniel Penciuc, managing partner of Nordis Brasov.
Work on the passenger terminal of the new airport in Ghimbav near Brasov began in March last year, according to data from the website of the Brasov municipality.
The Nordis Group was founded in 2008 and comprises seven companies that operate in the hotel, real estate development, construction, real estate consulting, architectural services and real estate management sectors.
In February, Nordis announced the completion of the construction of the Nordis Primaverii Boutique residential building in Bucharest after an investment of 8 million euros.
