According to DSP, today, in the county, the cumulative incidence of Covid is 0.34, 219 people being infected at this moment.
In Brasov, currently, there are 125 positive people at Covid-19, the infection rate being 0.43.
Fundata is the locality in the county with the highest Covid index – 2.75 (2 infected people).

The Strategic Communication Group presented the balance of the day in Romania regarding the situation generated by the coronavirus.
1,443 new cases were registered, at national level, in the last 24 hours, of which 27 in Brașov. 21 deaths were recorded in our county, and in the ATI wards there are 293 patients.
“To date, on September 1, 1,100,208 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Romania (COVID – 19).
1,055,892 patients were declared cured.
Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 1,443 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.

* Regarding the “new cases not allocated by counties”, we specify that their number is determined by the changes brought to the electronic platform through which the test results for the new coronavirus are reported and centralized. Thus, according to the new methodology, the testing centers directly introduce the results of the tests performed, and the epidemiological investigation will be performed at the level of the Public Health Directorates and the positive cases will be assigned to the county / locality to which the infected persons belong.
Aside from the newly confirmed cases, after retesting patients who were already positive, 197 people were reconfirmed positively. The distribution by county of these cases can be found in the table below.

To date, 34,591 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.
Between 31.08.2021 (10:00) – 01.09.2021 (10:00) were reported by INSP 21 deaths (11 men and 10 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Argeș, Brașov, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Cluj, Dâmbovița, Iași, Mureș, Prahova, Sibiu, Teleorman, Timiș, Tulcea, Ilfov and Bucharest.
Of the 21 deaths, 1 was registered in the age group 40-49 years, 2 in the category 50-59 years, 5 in the age category 60-69 years, 7 in the age category 70-79 years and 6 in the category over 80 years old.
20 of the registered deaths are of some patients who presented comorbidities, and for 1 deceased patient no comorbidities have been reported so far.
No deaths were reported prior to the reference interval.
In the specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 2,455. Of these, 293 are hospitalized at ATI.
To date, 9,110,620 RT-PCR tests and 2,427,274 rapid antigen tests have been processed nationwide. In the last 24 hours, 18,198 RT-PCR tests were performed (7,349 based on the case definition and medical protocol and 10,849 upon request) and 24,649 rapid antigen tests.
In Romania, 7,977 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 2,446 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 54,031 people are in quarantine at home, and 51 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
In the last 24 hours, 1,100 calls were registered to the unique emergency number 112 and 600 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), open especially for informing citizens.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on August 31, 519 sanctions for minor offenses, amounting to 148,500 lei.
Also, through the competent structures of the Police, 2 criminal cases were drawn up yesterday to thwart the fight against diseases, a deed provided and punished by art. 352 Penal Code.
We remind the citizens that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has operationalized, starting with 04.07.2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where violations of the sanitary protection norms can be notified.
The calls are taken over by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified issues.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 23,574 Romanian citizens were confirmed as infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 2,543 in Italy, 16,778 in Spain, 198 in Great Britain, 129 in France, 3,124 in Germany, 95 in Greece, 49 in Denmark, 37 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 5 in the USA, 8 in Sweden, 143 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 75 in Switzerland , 4 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 7 in Bulgaria, 21 in Cyprus, 4 in India, 5 in Ukraine, 8 in United Arab Emirates, 14 in Moldova, 3 in Montenegro, 218 in Ireland, 5 in Singapore, 5 in Tunisia, 9 in the Republic of Korea, 2 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2 in Serbia, 2 in Croatia and one each in Argentina, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Republic of the Congo, Qatar, Vatican, Portugal, Egypt, Pakistan , Iran, Slovenia, Russian Federation, Finland, Poland and Kuwait.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and until now, 193 Romanian citizens abroad, 37 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 60 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, 3 in Sweden, 5 in Ireland, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Austria, one in the USA, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo, one in Greece, one in Iran and one in Poland, have died.
Of the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 798 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg, one in Tunisia and one in Argentine.
