Accor, one of the leading global groups in the field of hospitality, is expanding its portfolio in Romania. The group has signed a management agreement with Kronstadt Hotel for the opening of a new ibis Styles in Brașov.

The hotel, located in the heart of Romania, will be the sixth under this brand that will open in our country and will welcome its first guests at the beginning of 2024.

The new ibis Styles Brasov will have 126 rooms, a restaurant on the ground floor with a bar and an outdoor terrace, open to hotel guests.

A modern and modular conference room of approximately 400 sqm will host various events. A fitness room will also be available for guests.

The hotel will be part of a mixed-use project, which also includes a residential component, with commercial and service spaces, on the ground floor, which will offer guests comfort and accessibility.

Located on Cristianului Street, the hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the future Brașov Multipurpose Hall – a multifunctional hall for indoor sports events, concerts, congresses and other cultural events, scheduled to be inaugurated in 2024-2025.

The location will be extremely accessible by plane, due to the proximity to the future Brasov International Airport, which is less than 10 km away. But also by car, on DN1, from Bucharest and Sibiu.

The opening of the hotel is scheduled for the beginning of 2024, in time for the inauguration of the new Multipurpose Hall in Brașov. The hotel will be operated by the Accor group through a management agreement.

“The arrival of ibis Styles in Brașov – one of the most dynamic, contemporary and design-oriented brands in the Accor portfolio – is excellent news. Both for the group and for the city. We have great confidence in the project, as it allows travelers to experience the lifestyle of a young community. And to feel the atmosphere of an energetic and creative city.

With the expansion of the ski area, the opening of the airport and the diversification of cultural life. Brought by the inauguration of the new Polyvalent Hall, Brașov has an amazing opportunity to consolidate its attractiveness. And to become the capital of winter sports and Romanian tourism. ” says Cătălina ROȘU – Accor Development Director for Romania, Bulgaria, the Republic of Moldova and the Czech Republic.

„Adding a hospitality component to our mixed project in Brașov is a big plus for the area. Because it brings it vitality, it makes it more open and welcoming.

Ibis Styles is an excellent brand for us. It allows us to embrace a theme and build a bold and creative design around it. To share our values with our guests and the community.

Moreover, the partnership with Accor is a guarantee for professional and enthusiastic hotel services. Caring for guests as well as the community and the environment.

Local and international guests will have the certainty of stepping into the same culture of services offered. And as detail-oriented as any other unit on the network. But with a locally inspired design and a unique story that can’t wait to be discovered. ” says the representative of the investing company, Kronstadt Hotel
